Objective

Let’s Plant aims to join forces the local community to:

• To contribute to the local population's economic growth
• To advertise the place in an effort to increase popularity in the area
• To expand more mangroves in the area
• To help with the environmental issues and global warming.

Result

The Let's Plant 2023 event was a great success, bringing together approximately 120 participants and important partners. These partners included representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Provincial Environment Department, the founding president of JCI, past presidents of JCI CTM, and members from the sponsor team. During the project, we successfully planted 2,500 mangrove trees in Trapang Sangke Community Fishery. To formalize our commitment, a handover agreement for the 2,500 mangroves was signed between the project chair and the head of the community.
