Toilet for Better Health

Objective

Build a toilet in primary school which can be accessed by 77 students.
Invite 50 people in the community to join and educate them about sanitation, hygiene, and safety by having a proper toilet.
Promote SDGs number 6 “Clean water and sanitation”.

Accomplishment

Renovated the toilet, installed solar pumping water to the toilet, and provided a sink for washing hands
Participated by international delegates from JCI Danang and JCI Vietnam
Reach our participant target which are 70
Complete the mission that we have set from the beginning
Solve the real need problem of the school based on our need analysis
Make an impact through the participants that they involved in the real site
Close the project with a good experience for all stakeholders.

Let's Plant

Let's Plant, organized by JCI Chaktomuk, is an annual project with several goals. We want to bring our local community together to boost the local economy, which benefits everyone. We also aim to raise awareness about our environment and become known for our good work as well as to become a recognized reputable CSR platform. As a result, stakeholders who engage with our project will not only enhance their public image but also contribute to the betterment of our community and our event. We are proud to have consistent support from various entities, including government ministries, the public sector, private organizations, and NGOs.

Toilet for Better Health

“Toilets for Better Health 2023” is a multi-sectoral and one of many impactful projects led by JCI Cambodia Chapter Chaktomuk, which aims to build or renovate the standard toilet for students, promote long-term sustainable development of knowledge in a targeted location, spread educational awareness of public health and sanitation in rural areas, transform those communities into a healthy living environment.

Let's Read

Let’s Read 2023 aims to achieve in getting 80% or more students to begin implementing a new habit of reading (One book per month), renovate the library to be an attractive place for students to do further research outside their study hours, and provide students with more than 5 categories of reading books to help thrive their education toward personal development and growth.

Mission for Cambodian Children's Smile

Mission for Cambodian Children’s Smile 2023 project aims to have 80% students of targeted schools be aware and begin their dental care daily routine, receive their necessary dental checkup from our experienced dentists both from Japan and Cambodia, and promote our SDG goals of 3 “Good Health and Well-being", 4 "Quality Education", and 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation".
